Volley with Pride

Our Commitment

Everyone has a place in our sport, exactly as you are.

At Volleyball NSW, we stand firm in our commitment to fostering a safe and welcoming environment for all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Our organisation maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of bullying, harassment, or vilification, including acts of homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia.

We're dedicated to supporting individuals in leading fulfilling, active, and healthy lives, and part of this dedication involves promoting inclusivity in all aspects of our sport. This commitment is reflected in our inclusive uniform position, where participants, officials, staff and volunteers are encouraged to dress in a manner that aligns with their affirmed gender identity.

Join us in celebrating diversity, respect, and equality within the volleyball community. Together, we can strive to create a space where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to be their authentic selves. You can find more information about our inclusive practices and approach below.

If you experience direct bullying or harassment and/or need to report an incident, please contact vnsw.integrity@volleyballnsw.com.au
