Volleyball NSW is excited to announce our next Level 2 Coach course for 2022. This will be a great opportunity for any current Level 1 coaches to upskill towards a higher level accreditation and will enable attendees to engage with further coaching opportunities in the wider volleyball community. This will also serve as an opportunity for coaches to meet the coach accreditation requirements for the upcoming Sydney Volleyball League.

Course info:

The day is divided into theoretical and practical components to help you plan, prepare, deliver & review your coaching sessions. Successful applicants will be sent pre-reading material to best prepare for this course.

WHEN: Saturday, March 26th, 10am - 5pm

WHERE: Knox Grammar School, Wahroonga

PRESENTER: Dr. Mladen Stankovic (Level 3 Coach)

COST: $165 + Booking Fee

The course will be limited to a maximum of 20 participants, with registrations closing on Wednesday, March 30th.

To attend the Volleyball Australia Level 2 Face to Face Coaching Course, you must complete the following prior:

1. You must be a current member of your State or Territory Volleyball Association. Please note your application will be rejected if your state membership is not current. This will be verified by your State.

2. You must be an accredited Volleyball Australia Level 1 Coach.

3. You must complete the Sport Australia Community Coaching General Principles Course and attain the Certificate of Completion.

*Please note attending this Face to Face course does not complete your requirements for the Volleyball Australia Level 2 Coach Accreditation. You must complete after the course the following steps.

1. Complete the following Play By The Rules modules and attain the courses Certificates of Completion:       

       - Harassment and Discrimination
       - Child Protection (For 18 year olds and over only)

2. Record and complete your coaching Log Sheet. Please only include hours post the Face to Face VA Level 2 Coaching Course. Total 20 hours.

3. Undertake a Training Session and Match Day assessment by a mentor coach. 

4. Return to this portal to upload all the required documents to apply for your Volleyball Australia Level 2 Coach Accreditation Application
