Volleyball NSW is excited to announce another Level 2 Coaching course for 2023. This will be an excellent opportunity for any current Level 1 coach to upskill towards a higher level accreditation and will enable attendees to engage with further coaching opportunities in the wider volleyball community. 

Course info:

The day is divided into theoretical and practical components to help you plan, prepare, deliver & review your coaching sessions. Successful applicants will be sent pre-reading material to best prepare for this course.

WHEN: Friday 29th September 2023

TIME: 9 am - 4 pm

WHERE: Barker College, 91 Pacific Hwy, Hornsby NSW 2077

Parking available: Rosewood Centre Car Park

COST: $165 + Booking Fee

To attend the Volleyball Australia Level 2 Associate Face-to-Face Coaching Course, you must complete the following prior to registering.

Please note that your registration will be rejected if the following is not completed and you cannot attend the course.

1. Be a current member of your State or Territory Volleyball Association.

2. Be an accredited Volleyball Australia Level 1 Coach.

3. You must complete the Australian Sports Commission Community Coaching Essential Skills Course and attain the Certificate of Completion.

4. Completed the following "Play By The Rules" and "Sport Integrity Australia" modules and attain the courses Certificates of Completion:       

•        PBTR - Harassment and Discrimination
•        SIA- Child Safeguarding in Sport Induction  (For 18 year-olds and over only)

At the completion of this course, you will gain your Volleyball Australia Level 2 "Associate" Coach Accreditation. To upgrade to a Level 2 "State" Coach, you must complete the following steps after the course.

• Undertake a Training Session and Match Day assessment by a Level 3 coach. 

or 

• Obtain an endorsement letter from a Level 3 Coach and your State Volleyball Association.
