Immerse yourself in the NSW State Cups, the largest full-day competition open to all clubs and associations, creating an inclusive stage for a variety of teams to demonstrate their volleyball talents.

State Cup #3 is a fantastic post SVL competition for clubs and athletes to stay active between seasons.

DIVISIONS:

This event will comprise the following divisions & will be capped at 10 teams per division.

• MENS RESERVES (SUNDAY)
• WOMENS RESERVES (SUNDAY)
• MENS DIVISION 1 (SUNDAY)
• WOMENS DIVISION 1 (SUNDAY)
• MENS DIVISION 2 (SATURDAY)
• WOMENS DIVISION 2 (SATURDAY)
• MENS DIVISION 3 (SATURDAY)
• WOMENS DIVISION 3 (SATURDAY)

MATCHES:

Minimum three (3) games per team.

All Round Games are timed best of five (5), 60 minutes incl. ten minute warm-up.
All Finals Games (non medal) are timed best of three (3), 60 minutes incl. ten minute warm-up.
All Finals Games (GOLD) are untimed best of three (3).

REGISTRATION:

Team entrants are NOT required to hold affiliation with VNSW.

Team entry is limited to one (1) team per division.

Regional clubs will be provided with an exclusive registration window (27/09 - 3/10)  prior to open registrations (4/10 - 13/10).

Regional Club Registration (via email invitation) - 9:00 AM Friday 27th Sept - 11:59 PM Thursday 3rd Oct.

Public Registration (online above) - 9:00 AM Friday 4th Oct - 11:59 PM Sunday 13th Oct.

PARTICIPANTS:

Participants MUST be at least a 2024 recreation member of VNSW.

Players may only play for ONE team. In the majority of circumstances players are not allowed to play down from the division they would usually play in i.e. 2024 SVL Division 2 athlete cannot play in Division 3 State Cup. The only exception to this is if an appropriate division is not available at the event. In this case the player may play down in the next highest available division on offer i.e. Premier playing Reserve at State Cup.

All teams are required to perform Duty during the event. VNSW will endeavour to fill all first referee positions in coordination with the NSWVRA.

COST:

$380 gst incl. per team

Deposit at time of entry $70 per team + transaction fees (non-refundable).

FINAL PAYMENTS WILL BE REQUIRED 48 HOURS AFTER PUBLIC REGISTRATION CLOSES.

Refund Policy

 All State Cup Competitions are organised and run using the State Cup Indoor Rules & Regulations and the FIVB Volleyball Rules which can be found on the Volleyball NSW website. Furthermore, all indoor volleyball events offered by VNSW are done so under the overarching policies and procedures of Volleyball Australia.
