Volleyball NSW is dedicated to providing volleyball opportunities that promote participation, learning the rules of the game and advancing volleyball skills by offering fun team-based competition opportunities to High Schools within NSW.

The Term 4 Schools Cup is run under a one day format for 7-12 year groups, open to all schools and ability levels. The Year 9, 11 & 12 tournaments will be held on Monday 2nd December 2024 at Netball Central.

DIVISIONS:

This event will comprise the following year groups, limited to 12 teams per division:

• YEAR 9 GIRLS
• YEAR 9 BOYS
• YEAR 11 GIRLS (6 spots)
• YEAR 11 BOYS
• YEAR 12 GIRLS (6 spots)
• YEAR 12 BOYS (6 spots)

VNSW reserves the right to cap, merge or cancel divisions as they see fit and to close registrations prior to the promoted closing date if event capacity is reached.

MATCHES:

Minimum three (3) games per team.

All games including finals are mandatory three (3) sets of 11 minutes, 5 minute warm up prior (40 minute time limit total).

REGISTRATION:

Team entrants are NOT required to hold affiliation with VNSW.

Team entry is limited to one (1) team per division although schools may request additional teams via email in a division and be placed on a waitlist.

PARTICIPANTS:

Participants MUST be a registered student of the school.

Players may only play for ONE team and in the year group they are currently registered. Team lists will be checked prior to the competition date.

All teams are required to perform Duty during the event. Further information on duty requirements can be found in the event info guide and regulations.

COST:

$250 gst incl. per team

FINAL PAYMENTS WILL BE REQUIRED 48 HOURS PRIOR TO COMPETITION DATE.

Refund Policy

 All Schools Cup Competitions are organised and run using the Schools Cup Indoor Rules & Regulations and the FIVB Volleyball Rules which can be found on the Volleyball NSW website. Furthermore, all indoor volleyball events offered by VNSW are done so under the overarching policies and procedures of Volleyball Australia.
