2022 Youth Beach Phoenix - Team Presentation
Published Tue 15 Mar 2022
This past weekend Volleyball NSW held its 2022 State Team Camp and officially announced the coaches and athletes travelling to the Australian Junior Youth Beach Volleyball Championship. This year will mark the largest delegation in the history of NSW with a total of 66 athletes and 15 coaches with many returning medallists.
On Sunday at the annual State Team camp, VNSW hosted the inaugural “Team Announcement” presentation. With the growth of the sport and an increase in competitive play in NSW, being nominated to represent NSW at Nationals is an achievement unto itself. To celebrate this the NSW Pathways team conducted a special ceremony to celebrate and honour each and every team. With teammates cheering each other on and parents proudly watching, this cultural event highlights how far the sport has come and how exciting the future is for beach volleyball in NSW.
Thank you to BBVA who helped host us for this great camp on their courts at at Brighton-Le-Sands Beach.
Congratulations to all the athletes who have earned the right to represent NSW at the 2022 AYBVC in Coolangatta QLD. Below are the team photos of our U14 through to U18 male and female teams.
