5 year Affiliation milestone with the Australian International Sports Organisation

As the 2025 affiliation window opens, Volleyball NSW (VNSW) celebrates its five-year partnership with the Australian International Sports Organisation (AISO), which officially became affiliated with VNSW in 2020. This affiliation and affiliations alike are the key drivers for the growth and development of volleyball in New South Wales. By joining VNSW as an affiliate, clubs and organisations like AISO gain access to a wide range of valuable resources, support, competitions, and opportunities designed to nurture the growth of both their clubs and the sport of volleyball.

Affiliation with Volleyball NSW is an annual commitment for clubs, providing access to a wealth of benefits within the Volleyball Australia (VA) and VNSW framework. These include exclusive competitions, coaching and officiating development, and extensive networking opportunities that help clubs thrive.

Nick Toscan, Director and Co-Founder of the Australian International Sports Organisation, shared his thoughts on the partnership:

"It's been great to be able to self generate programs, as well as deliver programs assigned to us from Diwa. The flat rate admin fee has been extremely beneficial to schools and our organisation, along with the streamlined process of equipment being managed by VA. We are now also working with Volleyball ACT, VIC and QLD to deliver sporting schools programs"

As of 2024, Volleyball NSW is proud to support a vibrant community of over 10,000 passionate players, coaches, referees, and administrators. With 60+ affiliated clubs and associations across the state, VNSW provides a diverse array of opportunities for involvement, from competitive volleyball and social play to come-and-try days and the Spikeroos program for young players.

If you’re interested in becoming a Volleyball NSW Affiliate or want to learn more about the benefits and terms of affiliation, head to our Affiliation page on our website.

We look forward to seeing all our members and affiliates back on the court in the new year, continuing to build on our shared passion for the sport!
