Congratulations to our new FIVB L2 NSW Coaches
Published Wed 06 Jul 2022
This past week Volleyball Australia hosted the FIVB Level 2 Coaching Course in Sydney.
FIVB is the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball, which is the governing body responsible for all forms of Volleyball on a global level. The 5 day course is a great opportunity for coaches to improve their knowledge through the expertise of an official FIVB coach developer, with presentations on the most recent trends of the modern game.
Volleyball Australia run this course on alternating years, as it requires attendees to be National Level 3 Certified Coaches. This course is for career coaches and aspiring professionals - those interested in learning more about the game at an international level.

It was amazing to see so many NSW coaches in attendance, who’ll be bringing their newfound knowledge to courts around NSW real soon. Amongst the latest cohort, was our very own Chris Todd. Chris is Volleyball NSW’s Phoenix Head Coach and our technical education manager.
Many of the coaches will be on court this weekend at the Australian Junior Volleyball Championships.
