NSW Dominate at Australian Volleyball Club Championships 

The Australian Volleyball Club Championships were recently held in Bendigo Victoria following the successful Australian Youth Champs and the Sitting Volleyball Championships, with many NSW clubs showcasing the great club culture and even better volleyball in NSW. 

This competition boasted 2 divisions, Men and Womens Premier as well as Men and Women divison 2 with NSW teams playing for a medal in every division. 

Sydney’s Vostok Volleyball Club denied KVA Future Stars their attempt at a third-straight Women’s Premier title with a 3:0 final victory after having gone through the tournament undefeated and dropping only three sets along the way.

In the mens premier finals Sydney Acers went down to a strong team Heidelberg Volleyball Club (VIC) 3:1 to earn a commendable silver medal, but Sydney United took down KVA (VIC) in a tough 5 set battle ultimately coming out on top and winning the bronze! 

In Men’s Division Two, Sydney United upgraded their 2023 bronze to 2024 gold, after being challenged by Impact in their morning’s semis before eventually defeating Vikings 2:1 in the final.
