Sporting Schools Grants Open

Sporting Schools grant applications are about to open for Term 2 volleyball programs:  

• Applications Open: 8am Mon 27^th February
• Applications Close: 5pm Fri 10^th March

We loved having you teach our students about how to play Volleyball.

Our students thoroughly enjoyed learning from a qualified expert and looked forward to each session, their progress was evident each week as they received feedback on how to improve.

As a result of the program, the students requested to play volleyball during their lunch time each day.

We love sharing our passion for volleyball with future generations, and as volleyball programs are free for schools who apply for this grant it’s a win-win situation.

The objectives of Sporting Schools are to:

• Improve children’s fundamental movement skills to encourage lifelong participation in physical activity
• Increase the awareness of the value of sport in schools
• Engage children in high quality sporting programs
• Connect children with sport in their local communities
• Develop the capability and capacity of sport to drive nationwide participation growth.

The process is simple for all schools in NSW to apply.

Schools must apply for a grant using the Sporting Schools portal via the Schools Login on the Sporting Schools website. Applications cannot be submitted in any other form. On submission of your application, you will receive an email confirming your application has been submitted successfully and a summary of your application.
