It was an action packed Sunday at Netball Central with the start of the season for our Premier and Reserve teams.

When COVID stopped the competiton last year in 2021, we saw Sydney University hold the top spot in both the Mens and Womens Premier divison. So when both teams started their matches slowly losing the first 2 sets, the question on everyones mind was, "can they come back from this"? Well they answered, with both teams staging a  huge comeback in 5 sets to put a WIN on the board for the first match of the season.

The Reserves Mens had their share of matches going the distance. Housecats taking the first 2 sets with KVAA Eagles getting momentum in the 3rd & 4th set pushing that game to a 5th. What a close 5th set it was with Housecats take in the 5th set 15:12.
