The NSW Volleyball Referees Association, in conjunction with Volleyball NSW, recently hosted a successful Level 2 Refereeing Course at Netball Central on April 29th, 2023
With the inaugural VNSW Coaching Symposium just under three weeks away we are excited to go a little deeper into our amazing line up of presenters, professional coaches and professionals who specialize in developing coaches.
Volleyball NSW coaches have been busy spreading the message that "volleyball is for everyone" by delivering a successful Sporting Schools program at Holroyd School last week. Our very own NSW coaches teamed up to deliver the program, which received great feedback from the teachers and students who participated.
This event will be a premier professional development opportunity for Australian coaches with a full day line-up of nationally and internationally recognised presenters.
The vision is to bring the best Volleyball information and science to our coaching community while providing coaches a platform to network and connect.
As of March 31, 2023, your VNSW membership will expire. The 2023 -2024 season memberships will open on March 24, 2023, to facilitate a smooth transition into the new membership season.
Competition was fierce from Day 1, with a notable shout out to the Women’s Division 2 teams having 6 out of their 8 pool play games going to 3 sets. On Day 2, teams cranked it up a notch and we had many quarters and semis also going to 3 sets. This high-level volleyball also created large crowds along the boulevard and prompted many passers-by to simply stop and catch the action.
Congratulations to all athletes selected to represent NSW at the upcoming Australian Youth Volleyball Championships!
Athletes will compete against the best from around the country from the 27th-30th of March in Coolangatta, QLD. Check out the Volleyball Australia app for more information.
